Spicy Sports Terms & Conditions
Booked Equipment
- Specific skis and snowboards are subject to availability. If the reserved ski is not available our staff will find a similar ski, best suited to the conditions on the day. Hi-Performance Skis and snowboards can be exchanged anytime free of charge.
Picking-up Equipment
- Equipment can be picked up the night before your first-day skiing at no extra charge, please call ahead or check our Google listing for current closing hours. Your arrival in-store must be 30 mins before we close to allow time for fitting.
Damage Insurance
- The damage waiver applies to equipment damage only. The Damage Waiver applies to equipment breakage only, not lost, misplaced or stolen equipment. If the damage waiver is selected, Spicy Sports Inc. will absorb the cost of repairing any damaged equipment; However any lost, misplaced, stolen, or broken equipment shall be replaced by the renter at full retail value of the equipment.
Own Boots
- If the renter is not using rental boots provided by Spicy Sports they must confirm to DIN (ISO 5535) or Adult Gripwalk boot sole standards. Other boot sole standards may be accommodated, please call or email to confirm. Boots must also pass visual inspection and not be worn past what is deemed acceptable.
Cancellation
- Please provide as much notice as possible for any cancellations. If the booking is canceled within 24 hours of the start date, a $15 +TAX processing fee will be charged and the refund will be processed. If canceled at least 24 hours before your booking start date a full refund will be given.
Classification of Kids
- Child prices are applicable to junior and kids' equipment only. If a child requires adult equipment (due to height, weight, shoe size etc.) an extra charge may apply.
Deposit on arrival
- For any guests that have not paid in advance, we need to take a pre-authorization on a major credit card upon your arrival. By paying in advance you can avoid this step.
Requirements for under 19’s
- Guests under the age of 19 years will need to have a guardian of the age of 19 years or older to sign on their behalf. If guests 18 and under will rent alone, you can contact the shop for a digital waiver in advance. Contact:Â Mail@Spicysports.com
Illness
- For the health and safety of everyone, we kindly ask you to refrain from visiting our stores if you are experiencing any symptoms of illness. Please contact our team to let them know about any change of plans.
Spicy Summer - Whistler Bike Rentals
Pick-Up of Booked Equipment
- With booking online all bikes selected will specifically be for each customer. All is a full-day rate (9:00 am-5:00 pm) and upgrades or exchanges of sizes may be limited.
Cancellation
- Any bike rentals canceled outside of 24 hours before the rental date (After 10:00 am the day before the bike is due to be picked up) will be issued a full refund of the amount paid online.
- For bike rentals that are canceled within of 24hrs before the rental date, there will be no refund given.
Requirements of E-bike Patrons
- All E-bike rental guests must be 16 years or older to rent.
Group Discounts and Promotions
Discounts are offer to events, corporate groups, and any other group that are more than 10 people.
We offer a few options on the fitting process which will depend on the group size.
